Argie studied music at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama from the age of 18.  After completing his studies, he began to teach at various schools, and also took on private pupils for piano, violin and theory of music.

 

Argie always had sight problems and after several years of teaching, he found that his sight was worsening and he was unable to see printed music. He had to abandon his musical career. As a result, Argie changed direction and studied Psychology and counselling and worked at the University of Sussex until his retirement.

It was during his retirement, with the aid of technology, he was able to return to his passion for music and produce original compositions.
